About this site
I started this blog to share fun projects that combine Linux, networking, hardware, and automation tools—things you can experiment with at home. My career began many years ago as a Linux system administrator, managing bare-metal servers. In recent years, I’ve shifted my focus to public clouds, primarily AWS, and transitioned into a role that today would be called Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), DevOps, or Cloud Engineer.
So I got a little tired of using public clouds professionally and decided to go back to where it all started many years ago — physical hardware. I wanted to build a home lab where I could really geek out and get hands-on with the iron and cabling. I also wanted to run some interesting, useful projects with real-world applications.
